Quick Hint #51

Solving Storage Problems

If like me you are a scenery builder you will probably have a box or bag somewhere full of pieces of card, foamcore, plastic sheeting and various other sheet materials, ranging in size from full sheets to little offcuts you are keeping just in case you might need them one day. Over time these can build up into quite a stash and you run the risk that pieces can get damaged or even lost (I admit I did have several large bags full of stuff).

A great solution to this problem is to buy an artists portfolio case. These come in a range of sizes and prices to suit your need and pocket. I have an A1 size case with zips to keep it closed, which is just perfect for my accumulated modeling materials and really makes it a lot easier to pack everything away safely and neatly when I’m not using it.
